Today, the creation of an object can no longer be done at random. The use of a simple and well-known design, such as archetypes, allows the creation of intuitive and

customisable while achieving a more responsible industrialisation.

Brief: Giving new life to an archetype.

My subject: the candlestick.

 

Candlee retaining its formal DNA is recognised by all. It can be positioned in 2 ways. Its simplified manufacture makes it inexpensive and more responsible. The rubber rings on the tube allow you to vary its position and personalisation.

​

It is designed as a kit and is sold in two sizes to suit different people. The first one allows you to create one of the two versions of the lamp, wall-mounted or as an occasional lamp. While this format combined with the second one makes it possible to make 2 wall lamps. 

                       

The mock-up step allowed us to move from a more 

ornamented to a simpler one, to easily define the functions and to think directly about a more responsible manufacturing.
